I had a nice stay at this traditional hotel. the location was great and stunning - ease of access to Kodai-ji Buddhist Temple. It also was close to many attractions. My room included central heating, a work desk, and an electric kettle. I had an extremely comfy bed and a clean bathroom.

All in all a really really nice stay, the venue met expectations. All good — we loved this traditional hotel — the food was great and the staff were exceptionally accommodating. Absolutely perfect and magnificent location, in a beautiful district, the property was in the middle of the city.

The hotel was located in a bustling area with plenty of attractions and charm. It was within walking distance to beautiful alleys, temples, and shops. The atmosphere was traditional and the courtyard garden added a sense of tranquility.
The futons provided were a bit too firm for my liking. However, overall, the experience was great and I would definitely consider staying there again.

LOVED IT! BEST accommodations in Japan! Host was perfect, accommodation was spectacular, location was amazing. Most comfortable beds in our 2 weeks in Japan. Easy access with public transport. Don't be concerned about shared bathroom, just like walking down the hall at home. Hiro, our host, was exactly the right person to be a host. Remembered our names, gave us tips and travel advice. Authentic Japanese accommodation.
Totally recommend this hotel.
